Do I need to pay?
No. The beta is free and has no real purchase: whatever the shop shows, nothing is ever charged.

What's new in the latest buildOn your Android phone, open the invitation link. It is run by Firebase App Distribution, Google's service for test builds.
Get the invitationSign in with a Google account, which can be linked to any e-mail address, then accept the invitation to test Ethernal Oath.
The page then offers Firebase App Tester, the app that installs test builds. Android asks you to allow installs from your browser: allow them for this install.
In App Tester, open Ethernal Oath and download it. Android asks once more to allow installs, this time from App Tester.
Turn on App Tester's notifications. Each new build arrives there, and one tap installs it over the previous one.
Join the Discord to report bugs, share ideas and talk with the other testers. Mention your phone model and the version shown in Settings.

About once a week, an official beta goes out to the testers, with its release notes on this website. App Tester tells you when it is ready.
Read the release notesThe beta runs on Android only, on phones and tablets. The game is in 3D, so a recent device gives the smoothest battles.

Open the press kitNo date yet, and none will be announced before it is certain. The Android beta comes first; each next step is announced on the Discord and in the journal.
Read the journalIt is a fair question for any online game. During the beta nothing is bought, so there is nothing to lose but a save. If the game ever had to stop, you would read it here and on the Discord first.
Ethernal Oath is made with the Godot engine. Generative AI tools are used for part of the content, including the 3D models, illustrations and music, and JLA Studio directs and reviews everything that goes into the game. Nothing generated is ever presented as drawn or composed by hand.
